We’ve been a friendly group in Suffolk since 1960, bringing together people from all walks of life who love helping others. Whether it’s volunteering or fundraising, we’re all about making a positive impact in our community.
Our membership is less than £120 a year (about £2.30 a week), with options
to pay in installments. We meet every Thursday at 6.30 pm at the Sole Bay Bowls Club, where you can enjoy a meal for £10, or a drink or a hot drink for just 50p! You may choose to attend a meeting without a meal. Being part of Rotary International we have access to a wealth of information and networks, public liability Insurance, youth programmes and more.
Our club is relaxed and flexible, organising fun events and sharing ideas. We will discuss our community's needs and develop creative ways to help them. You’re not expected to attend every week, but we truly appreciate your involvement. Joining Blyth Valley Rotary means you’ll be part of a valued team that supports local charities and communities. The meetings are to discuss future projects, listen to speakers, share ideas and enjoy friendships in a relaxed environment. We are a non-profit organisation, welcoming men and women alike, with no religious or political opinion.
